Watercolour Christmas Baubles
Grab a cuppa and your watercolours, let's get festive!
Hi lovely,
The festive season is ramping up a gear, I’m knee deep in nativity plays, Christmas parties and pantos (all for the kids 😂).
To fit in a little me time, I sat at my fold-away desk at the end of my sofa, and got my watercolours out.
My inspiration:
The glass baubles placed at the very top of my tree so little hands can’t get them, reflecting the twinkling lights.
I ended up in full ‘play’ session and created ‘Christmas Baubles - 4 Ways'!’ Yes, 4 different ideas for painting and arranging Christmas Baubles! I definitely filled my cup up for a few days. The only thing missing was a gold pen; I can’t believe I don’t have one (I’ll have to add it to my Christmas list), or I would have gone to town with more twinkly details!
This week’s Creative Pause is a bit different!
I’ve made a video instead of a PDF Guide! So nothing to download. Press play and listen to me waffle on.
Let me know what you think.
Would you like more video tutorials, or do you prefer the PDF guide?

If you get inspired to carry on, here’s my four designs! What was so simple was that I could do all the painting in one go, leave them to dry, and then come back, add details and collage at different times, whenever I had 5-10 minutes.

If you give this one a go, leave a comment and share how it went.
For subscribers, head over to the chat to tell me all about it or share your own ideas - I’d love to try something new.
Happy Creating,
Shelle x
